Capitals of Rome
Constantine I adopted the Christian religion and dedicated the town of Byzantium as a new Christian capital of the Roman Empire in AD 330. He renamed it Constantinopolis and issued bronze coins to commemorate the new city and the old capital of Rome. This pair of coins are from that very city.
